on hearing that 4 of our med school acquaintances got engaged over winter break:

"jeezus, i'm not even in the game anymore, but i do want to get married...step 1: find a guy. step 2: date him. step 3: start to like him. step 4: start to love him. step 5: F it up, start all over, repeat 2 or 3x. step 15?: get engaged...and hopefully marriage will follow"
