Racism and other jewels of the hospital

Resident 1: "....patient came in with AT chest pain...."

Me: " What's an AT chest pain? I've never heard that one..."

Resident 1: "You know, "Ayy-Tach" [grab chest, winces and grunts: 'Ayy AyyAyy']..."

Resident 2: "He means obese hispanic female, presents similar to tachylordia and the occasional ohepmejesus."

----------------------------------------------------------------------------------
other mnemonics I found/heard:
ADASTW: Arrived Dead and Stayed That Way [good. at least we didn't kill him]
DFOA: Done Fell Out AGAIN [somebody sedate him, quick.]
GOMER: Get Outta My ER! [what we call mallingering]
SOB: Shortness of Breath [not the other meaning!]

Oh dear very much. But I kind of love "Arrived Dead and Stayed That Way." I'm trying to figure out how to work that into everyday discourse.
