End Of Semester Musings
In my Folk and Myth Class:
Prof.: so, it's the end of the year now, and I'd like to take the last 10 minutes of class and discuss what you guys have gotten out of the material. Does anyone have anything they'd like to share?
....20 second pause....
Freshman: no. but, thanks.
P.S. I would like to say that all of those posts made on Sunday 4/30 were by Sam J and not me, though I still stand by the thought that most wars in China were at least partially due to the opium trade. And my pan-ethnic fetish friend is, indeed, very heterosexual.

Wow... that has to be one of the most conversation-killing classroom gambits ever. I had a core TF who would start class by asking if anybody had any "perspectives on the material." (crickets)
